The Western Lands
Although young, Emperor Mehmet is tactically brilliant and ambitious. While any observer can see that the Eastern Empire is in shambles, he seems committed to returning it to at least a shadow of it’s former glory, apparently though peaceful methods.
Mehmet receives visitors and keeps court as well as he can. Strangely he seems to be the only resident of the city completely immune to the specters and haunts which plague the ancient city. His guests and direct allies are neither harassed nor haunted by the beings which seem immune to barriers and ordinary steel.
